Fulbright Amazonia Scholars’ message to the Amazon Summit

The 16 Fulbright Amazonia Scholars and its two Co-Lead Scholars have shared a message to the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) for the Amazon Summit. Please see below the full text of their message:

Led by Professor Carlos Valério Gomes, Universidade Federal do Pará, a group of Fulbright Amazonia Scholars also hosted a self-organized event during the Amazonian Dialogues. Under the title “No clima da colaboração internacional: Respostas transfronteiriças a desafios sem fronteiras na Pan-Amazônia”, Scholars Ane Alencar, João Campos-Silva and Simone Athayde received and talked to academic and social movement’s leadership about international colaboration to face the shared challenges the Pan-Amazonian region faces.
