Fulbright Brazil is pleased to announce the upcoming workshop “Innovating Engineering Education with Generative AI”, led by Dr. Andrew Katz and Dr. Dayoung Kim from the Department of Engineering Education at Virginia Tech. Both scholars are at the forefront of research and practice in AI-enhanced engineering education, bringing expertise in curriculum design, ethics, and innovative pedagogy.

This three-day workshop will take place from September 23rd to 25th, 2025, bringing together university educators, industry experts, and thought leaders to explore how generative AI can transform engineering education. The overarching goal is to equip engineering faculty with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to responsibly integrate AI into curricula, pedagogy, and assessment, preparing the next generation of engineers for an AI-augmented future.
